Unforgettable event of AICS Cebu (Acquaintance Party)

Acquaintance is conducted in every school to be united, to get to know one another and as well to have a memories together with co-students. This event gives opportunity for students to see one another well dressed, to be out from the stress for the mean time, and the most important goal is to have bond together.

As AICS (Asian Of Computer Studies) Cebu celebrates acquaintance party with a theme “Semi-formal attire” on September 28, 2018, held at CAP Theater Cebu. Actually, it was planned on the said date which is September 22 but unfortunately it was moved due to having a hard time to find a venue where 300 people would fit in. With the help of Ms.Anne, Ms. Nicky and together with our School Student Council officers the event was totally planned. As one of the SSC Officers, we planned the foods, the games, the decors and the flow of the program. We also decided that each section/strand should have a presentation and also the clubs. Even, staffs and teachers have to dance too.

And as the day of our acquaintance party, everything went well. Everyone looks gorgeous and handsome, everyone is well dressed. And as we started the program, the glee club present the doxology and the national anthem, and was followed by our school president Ms. Lou Asis with a speech. Afterwards, games was the next, us/students was having fun because we we’re able find a partner and ask questions in order to know each other. The next was the class presentations, everything went well, and we we’re able to witness one another’s talent.

After all the presentations we had our awarding ceremony, the teachers has decided the 3 top well dressed (Male$Female) and Ms.Lou Asis decided to choose who will be the next Ms&Mr.AICS 2018. After the awarding, every class has the chance to took pictures together. And the program was ended at 5pm. Overall the event was so good and memorable.

We just have to trust and keep praying to our Almighty Father because everything happened for a reason.

We only realized things when its gone. We must enjoy life, we must give importance to our lives until were breathing because we don’t know when is the ending of our lives. And to prevent this tragedy again, people that are living in a prone area must prepare and keep seeking of information.
